In recent days, our hearts have turned to Central Vietnam, where communities are enduring one of the most severe and devastating floods in history.
News reports and images show entire provinces submerged beneath rising waters. Thousands of homes have been swept away, and the life savings of countless families have vanished within hours. The elderly and young children alike are struggling without food, clean water, or medicine. Now, more than ever, the people of Central Vietnam need our compassion and support.
VietBay Inc. is raising money and working with our trusted partners The Lotus Charity Foundation (Quỹ Từ thiện Bông Sen) and VNHELP to bring urgent and timely assistance to help people most affected by the floods. This includes both short-term emergency support and medium-term help to get people back to their normal life.
VietBay Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in California. All US donations are tax deductible. If you are requesting a matching from your company, please direct it to VietBay Inc. (EIN: 83-2887496, Benevity). Please email treasurer@vietbay.group if you need a receipt for the matching.
If you have any questions, please email us at board@vietbay.group. Thank you very much for your generosity!

How did this campaign get started?
Before this campaign, VietBay has initiated various campaigns to help Vietnamese living in Vietnam such as those affected by COVID-19 outbreak, natural disasters, orphanages, or disadvantaged kids in remote areas. We worked with non-government partners in Vietnam and all our raised money is 100% used on our beneficiaries with no overhead cost.
When Central Vietnam was hit with historic floods in October 2025, like any other Vietnamese community, our hearts are with the working people who got their life damaged by the the disastrous floods and its after-effect. Therefore, this fundraising campaign was born to provide short and medium-term helps to get the most affected people get back to their normal life.
How would your donations be used?
Since we don't have a representation in Vietnam, we channel your donations to local organizations. We only work with trusted, non-government charitable partners in Vietnam and US. Our activities are 100% apolitical, with our sole purpose is to help people in dire need of help.
Our largest partner is the Lotus Foundation and VNHELP. We trust them for several reasons: transparency (audited by Earns and Young), great coverage in Vietnam, and efficiency with close to 100% donations go to the beneficiaries. We have also collaborated with them for many successful projects in the past.
How does matching work?
A big source of our donations comes from corporate matching. In US, many companies have a matching policy for their employees. Many VietBay members were able to leverage their employers' policies and effectively double or triple their original donation.
If you are requesting a matching from your company, please direct it to VietBay Inc. (EIN: 83-2887496, Benevity: https://causes.benevity.org/causes/840-832887496?lang=en). Please email treasurer@vietbay.group if you need a receipt for the matching.
